Successful strengthened implementation of global learning into the education system and educational practice is highly dependent on the commitment of the school. Work to convince school leaders and teachers and advising them is therefore an important task in our project.
In all five countries we are advising schools on how global learning can be implemented in curricula, school development plans and school profiles, as well as in daily classroom life. The experience and ideas of the school management and teachers are an important resource for this. We are working together on ideas for school programmes, participation in initiatives such as “Fair School” or “Fairtrade School” and campaigns on the topic of global learning.
The focuses diverge from school to school, depending on the local situation in the various countries, the experience of teachers with global learning and the thematic priorities of the school. Our approaches can be found on the following pages.
