Empowerment

Sustainable integration of global learning can only be successful, if children and youths actively participate. Only in this way can the knowledge about global contexts be reflected in their activities. The focus here is on empowerment – the ability to act responsibly and self-determined.

Young people can learn a lot from one another in the process, and they are also a lot more open when in contact with people the same age as them. Peer training is a great asset to successful global learning and the development of the skills of the youths.

Within the framework of the project, we are supporting selected schools and their students in this process. As “Agents for Change” the young people are active and responsible in their environments at school and where they live. There they are campaigning for fairness and sustainability, and against discrimination and violence.
